Is the Australian Representative for international managers across several asset classes

Runs the AFM Davis Value Trust in Australia

Represents Australian investment managers in selected investor segments

AFM’s business offers a one stop shop to investment managers including:

marketing and distribution services, regulatory and compliance advice on licensing and marketing to investors in Australia

Responsible Entity / trustee services for Australian domiciled trusts of international and local fund managers.

AFM Business Model

The objective of these marketing, distribution and compliance services is to secure investments from institutional and retail investors, especially industry superannuation funds, public sector superannuation funds, funds managed or promoted by banking and insurance companies and other investors.

AFM’s initial target market included industry and public sector superannuation funds and has now expanded to include a much wider distribution network that includes asset consultants, private bankers, family offices, high net worth individuals and other investors. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to investors in our underlying investment managers.

AFM provides access to its network of investors via relationship marketing rather than transaction sales techniques. This sits well with our underlying investment managers with whom we seek to have a long term and sustainable relationship.
